Jacob's Colours is a communication app that runs entirely on your device. We built it to respect your privacy completely.

MonkeyCode is committed to providing quality apps to you, and this policy outlines how Jacob's Colours manages your information. We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). The APPs govern the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of personal information. What information do we collect?

None. Jacob's Colours does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The app has no user accounts, requires no sign-in, and sends no data off your device.

• Everything you create — buttons, pictures, social stories, the name you enter for personalisation, and your voice and display settings — is stored only on your device.
• The app works entirely offline and does not connect to the internet.
• There are no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.

Photos and camera

You may choose to add a photo to a button, either from your photo library or by taking a new photo with the camera. Any photo you add is saved only on your device and is never uploaded, shared, or transmitted. The app accesses the camera or photo library only when you ask it to, and only for the photo you select.

Speech and Personal Voice

Jacob's Colours reads text aloud using Apple's on-device speech synthesis. If you choose a Personal Voice, it is generated on your device by iPadOS. No text or audio is ever sent to us or to any third party.

Third parties

Jacob's Colours contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking or data-collection software, and does not share any information with third parties.

Children's privacy

The app does not collect any information from anyone, including children. It contains no ads and no in-app purchases.

Data security

Because no data is collected or transmitted, there is no personal data at risk of loss or misuse. Content stored on your device stays under your control and can be removed by editing the app's content or deleting the app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
